What Is Ceramic Coating?

• A ceramic coating is a specialized formula that provides resistance to chemicals, salt, and environmental damage. It creates a hard, glassy layer across painted or gel-coat surfaces.
• This coating offers several benefits:

1. Application Process:
   
   • Applying ceramic coating involves several steps:
     1. Vehicle Prep: This includes degreasing, decontamination, and removing road salt and film.
     2. Super Foam Wash: A thorough contact wash to clean the surface.
     3. Iron Removal Spray: Removes iron particles.
     4. Clay Bar Treatment: If necessary, to further clean the surface.
     5. Water Spot Removal: Ensures all surfaces are spot-free.
     6. Compound Buff: A multi-step process to enhance the paint’s appearance.
     7. Wax & Polish: Prepares the surface for ceramic coating.
     8. Surface Prep Spray: Removes any remaining compound and wax oils.
     9. Ceramic Coating Application: The critical step where the ceramic coating is evenly applied.
     10. Cure Time: The coating needs 12 to 24 hours to cure without getting wet. During this time, the vehicle should remain in a dry area.
